This is my favorite performance not because of the vocals but because of the feeling. It felt really real, not saying that David’s performances are fake. But the way he sang this song was just really beautiful and heartfelt.

David Cook’s voice is so beautiful. There is something about it that moves me emotionally. He connects with the lyrics in such a profound way, that it becomes more than a song, it becomes musical poetry. He is brilliant and the best American Idol ever.

Huh… on ontd people were considering this for the best ai performance ever, and so I had to come see it… and I’m perplexed…. He was actually quite flat for the first half, and his pitch was shaky thru the rest. DAVID COOK IS FANTASTIC!!! I’m not knocking HIM, and the arragement is genius, but the vocals were actually quite shaky, imo.

yeah..season 7 is the best,there are so many talented people..it’s so much fun to see them every week,they laugh and cried together..the hilarious mavid,archie the sweetie,jason the “duhh..”,carly,brooke…God,I miss them ALL..
the finale is the best finale ever..they don’t need big name like Queen or Kiss to sing with..they can entertains people just by their own talent..

after watching this, i suddenly have this urge to watch season 7 again. i love kris and adam but nothing compares to the show the 2 DAVIDS put on last year. season 7 was ai’s best season so far.

the reason that i hate adam lambert is that he can only change the voicing of the song unlike david cook who can change from music to lyrics

Actually he is and it ws proven that Adam was cheeted out of winning by att. plus anyone who is on idol is an idol just not the winner. kris was great too tho.
