Kris did not sing this on Michael Jacksin week, he sang it during group 2 night (Which included Matt and Adam). He earned a spot in the top 13 with this song.

I find it an interesting coincidence that Kris Allen sang this song during a round where a lot of people are saying that he will never get through the top 13 and he got in and won American Idol on the same year that Michael Jackson died. What’s more interesting is that among all Michael Jackson songs, “Man in the Mirror” is the current #1 song on Itunes right now and I never heard it being played on Michael Jackson tributes all over TV. All I hear are “Thriller”,”Heal the World”,”Gone too Soon”.
