Kristy Lee Cook “Forever” Elimination American Idol Season 7
It was her time to go, as Simon said before her name was announced. So on April 16th, 2008, the American Idol run for the number 7th finalist was cast off and sent home. But not before she got to sing her Mariah Carey version of “Forever,” with that country twang.

That was one of my favorite moments of American Idol… It was so funny David sitting on the floor, and I agree with the person that sayid that this was the best performance of Krysti.

i agree. i can still remember. kristy lee was smart and brave enough to hold simon’s hand when she sang for the last time.

i think its kinda rude how the decided to cut her performance…i mean just by a couple seconds but seriously she wasa like “you will alway be-” then the 19 thing came up

yeah in all fairness she gave better performances in the last few weeks then jason or brooke, she should have stayed, she didn’t really bring anything new to the table exactly but she had a great personality very humble, and i think she had a surprisingly good voice, they didn’t pimp her like they did david(free ride) archuleta either. I was so bummmed when kristy left, i felt it all day that day too that she was gonna go
